Every retreat below is capped at eight participants. When a date fills, we close registration and start a waitlist. We do not add a second group to "meet demand."

Weekend in the Sisters

Three Sisters Wilderness 2 nights / 3 days Moderate 8 max

Our entry-level program and the right starting place for participants with no prior retreat experience. A short, contained weekend that introduces the walking practice, breathwork, and silent-time formats we use across all retreats.

Full Itinerary

Friday
Arrival, intake, opening sit. Pickup from Redmond Airport (RDM) at 3 PM. Lodge check-in. Equipment review with Sage. 45-minute opening sit before dinner.
Saturday
Tam McArthur Rim · 7 miles · 1,200 ft gain. Morning sit at 6:30 AM. Trailhead by 8. Walking-practice instruction introduced on the climb. Lunch above tree line. Descent and journal time. Evening breathwork with Daniel.
Sunday
Whychus Creek · 4 miles · 400 ft gain. A slower walk with extended silent intervals. Closing circle at the lodge. Departure shuttle to Redmond Airport at 4 PM.
Who this is for: First-time participants. Adults 18+ in moderate hiking condition. Not appropriate if you cannot walk 4–7 miles in a day or have unmanaged conditions that affect balance on uneven trail.

Five Days on the Rim

Cascade Lakes Highway 4 nights / 5 days Moderate–Strenuous 8 max

Our flagship and longest-running program. Four nights at a private cabin compound on the Cascade Lakes Highway. Four full days on the trail, mostly above 6,000 feet. Daily breathwork sessions and a half-day silent walk on day three.

Full Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival and acclimatization. Airport pickup at 2 PM. Slow afternoon walk to Sparks Lake (2 miles, flat). Equipment review. Opening dinner with full introductions and intention-setting circle.
Day 2
Green Lakes Loop · 9 miles · 1,100 ft gain. Walking practice in three formats: counted breath, body-scan in motion, and open awareness. Group lunch under South Sister. Late afternoon return, evening breathwork.
Day 3
Silent half-day · 5 miles · 600 ft gain. No talking from 6 AM until lunch. Lower-mileage walk by design. Afternoon free for journaling, rest, or optional swim in Devils Lake.
Day 4
Sparks-to-Devils traverse · 11 miles · 1,800 ft gain. The longest day. Two short breathwork stops on the trail. Sunset on the rim and quiet return.
Day 5
Closing morning. Short walk (2 miles), integration circle, late lunch at the lodge. Shuttle to Bend or Redmond Airport at 2 PM.
Who this is for: Adults 18+ comfortable with up to 11-mile days and elevation up to 7,400 ft. Not appropriate during pregnancy, with unmanaged cardiovascular conditions, or for participants who have not previously hiked at altitude.

Winter Snowshoe Retreat

Mt. Bachelor Backcountry 3 nights / 4 days Moderate · Cold Weather 6 max (note)

Late January and early February only. Snowshoe walks at lower elevations than our summer programs, fire-room sittings, and a long evening of attention practice in winter quiet. Group capped at six in winter due to weather-window logistics.

Full Itinerary

Day 1
Gear-up and orientation. Snowshoe fitting at the lodge. Short evening walk (1.5 miles). Cold-weather safety briefing — layering, hand-warming, signs of mild hypothermia.
Day 2
Todd Lake loop · 4 miles · 350 ft gain. Slow snowshoe with three formal walking-practice intervals. Hot lunch at lakeside. Evening fire-room sit.
Day 3
Tumalo Falls in snow · 6 miles · 600 ft gain. Our longest winter route. Hot lunch in a sheltered grove near the falls. Afternoon return, optional sauna at the lodge.
Day 4
Closing morning. Short morning walk, breakfast, integration circle. Shuttle by noon.
Who this is for: Adults 18+ with prior cold-weather outdoor experience or a willingness to learn carefully. Requires a brief medical screening for cold-weather participation; details on booking.

Booking, payment, and policies

All prices are per person and include lodging, meals, on-trail snacks, permits, and local transport between our lodge and trailheads. Prices do not include airfare to Redmond Airport or the optional Bend airport shuttle.

Deposit and balance

A 30% deposit holds your place. The balance is due 30 days before the retreat start date. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express through our processor (Stripe) and bank transfer for the balance on request.

Cancellation

Deposits are refundable in full up to 45 days before the retreat. Between 45 and 14 days, deposits become non-refundable but transferable to any retreat within the following 12 months. Inside 14 days, full payment is non-refundable; a partial credit may apply at our discretion in case of documented medical reasons.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend trip-cancellation and travel-medical insurance. We do not sell or earn referral fees from any insurance provider. Several reputable options are listed in your booking confirmation email.
